5 Habits Leaders Do To Stay The Course
All leaders perform these 5 habits daily to stay the course.
”To be intentional means working with purpose, making every action count. Leaders know what they’re doing and why they’re doing it.” ~ John C. Maxwell in Leadership Promises for Every Day
If you are to stay the course and work with the power of purpose, you must be doing the following daily:
1. Have a purpose worth living for.
“Some men have thousands of reasons why they cannot do what they want to, when all they need is one reason why they can.” ~ Williis K. Whitney
2. Know your strengths and weaknesses. An intentional leader, plays to his or her strengths which rekindles their passions and renews their energy.
3. Prioritize your responsibilities. An intentional leader knows their “why” like the back of their hand. It is a part of their daily actions and reasons for doing things. By prioritizing their responsibilities things become easier to manage and knowing what they must do and when.
4. Learn to say no. An intentional leader is focused on their why and knows when to say NO. By staying focused on your why and following your plan you will excel.
5. Commit yourself to a long-term achievement. Leaders taking small steps will stay the course, accomplish more goals and sustain the time.
