Are You A Worthy Follower?

In a recent Morning Motivational call by Todd and Leah Rea they discussed having a mentor and whether we are worthy followers.
“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” ~ John F. Kennedy
As a part of my Daily Method of Operation (DMO) I read from “Leadership Promises for Every Day, A Daily Devotional” by John C. Maxwell and the reading for today was about being a worthy follower.
The lessons learned from this reading and the Morning Motivational call was:
· When you find someone that can personally mentor you, use their guidelines 100% to help develop a positive mentoring relationship with that person.
· Give thought to the question(s) you will ask and make them strategic to your growth.
· Don’t let your #ego get in the way of learning.
· Respect the Mentor but don’t idolize them.
· Put into effect immediately what I have learned.
· Be disciplined in relating what you have learned, do your homework and get prepared for your next coaching session, and
· DON’T GIVE UP!!!
Let your Mentor know that you have made a decision, so they will know you are sincere and focused on what you want to do; respect their time and what they are doing to make you the person you want to be.
· BE ALL IN!!!
