Authors — Do You Have A Website To Promote Your Book?

By Jill Klunk May 6, 2019

I was searching online last week and found an article about a first time author who recently published a book telling her story of how she came to being a writer.

Her story is based on her real experiences and research. Her whole story sounded so interesting.

However, when I tried to find her web site — I couldn’t find it.

What a pity, I believed.

While her book is included on Amazon.com and other online bookseller sites, and there was a press release revealing the launching of her book, there was no apparent web existence for this wonderful book and its author.

My immediate response was that she was leaving book awareness and sales on the table.

Maybe she felt that she did not need a website at this time.

Nevertheless, I felt that an easy website including her story of how she investigated and composed her book, with images of her would do wonders for her book.

In today’s busy world, where attention periods can last a nanosecond, an author can’t manage NOT to have a website.
