In John C. Maxwell’s book “Leadership Promises for Every Day — A Daily Devotional” in his Introduction he states:

“Anyone can follow a path, but only a leader can blaze one.”

Leadership is a journey.

Leadership is not for everyone.

How does one create Leadership?

I have been in leadership positions all of my life and I realized recently that some of my leadership skills had become outdated and needed to be cleansed. So I searched for a way in which I could not only reinvent my leadership skills but, learn new ones.

In my search, I came across a program that would not only assist me in toning my old skills but also teach me new ones. I found that one of my issues was not so much my skills but my Mindset. Without the proper mindset everything else is for not.

Being self-employed, you are the Leader. So who do you turn to? God Our ultimate leader.

In Maxwell’s book he provides daily devotions that are designed to connect me to God, provide leadership thoughts to help me grow, improve my mindset and stay focused on leadership issues and challenges.

I realize there are no guarantees in life but by taking a few minutes every day to read these devotions I will come one step closer to improving my mindset and leadership skills.
