The 4 C’s of Social Media
What Are They?
The four most effective strategies of social media are: Content, Conversation, Community and Connections.
You have worked hard to get your blog set-up and now the rubber must meet the road.
The name of the game is getting interested people (traffic) to your site and you do this by providing valuable information (content) to your visitors.
So, let’s get down to work.
You’re Social Media Plan MUST, not only address these four topics, but they must be implemented into your daily tasks.
1. Content: You have probably heard this many times — “Content is King.” I can’t stress the importance of providing good content to your readers. Without good content the likelihood of your readers returning to your sight is reduced. Content is what your audience is looking for and is willing to interact and share if they find value.
2. Conversation: Your visitors want to talk with you and expect you to listen to their needs and pain. It is your responsibility, as the expert, to listen, interact and provide the solution(s).
So how do you that?
By monitoring your comments on social media, respond in a timely manner and interact with them.
The key here is be consistent with providing value and responding — the quicker the better.
3. Community: People by nature want to be a part of something, so why not let it be your community! Your visitors expect attention and by interacting with them they get to know, like and trust you. Building that relationship, with them, is key to your success.
4. Connections: Meet with them on common ground, i.e., FaceBook, Pinterest, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or SnapChat. For simplicity, I suggest, you give priority to one platform.
By doing your homework, determine your research, the market (niche) you want to work with, where they hangout, what are their problems, pain points and how you may be of service to them.
