Embracing changes to create the greatest ride of your life.

David Byrd in his book “The Tripping Point In Leadership,” defines Apathy as:

“A natural human instinct, common to us all, that consistently encourages us to seek a comfort zone in which nothing ever changes.”

As Entrepreneur’s we must keep moving forward and overcome any negative impacts in our lives and businesses. Should you find yourself becoming a victim of negative impacts, take a step back recognize these problems and choose to make a change.

Through out our lives we make choices that are sometimes not in line with where we want to be.

Mr. Byrd states “we should understand and implement three of the most important choices everyday to help us get more out of our businesses and our lives.”

They are:

· Attitude

· Action

· Accountability

Attitude is a daily choice. It is an emotion. You must be in control of your emotions. If not you, then who will. Control your emotions and your attitude will follow. We should count our blessings and realize how wonderful and abundant our lives are. Make a choice and embrace the changes.

Action is also a daily choice. I have made a choice to improve my life through learning the new skill of blogging, sharing with others and teaching them how they too can learn new skills and improve their lifestyle. As a Boomer I am embracing changes and moving toward an enriched life. As people see the changes in our attitude and actions we are experiencing they will start asking questions. It may be a new health and wealth program or in my situation an opportunity to share my passion, working with Boomer’s in the buying and selling of real estate while building an online business. When we share with others our experiences, they will often want more information to join us in our activities.

Accountability is the most import of all three choices because it puts the burden of living your life the way you want while creating your dreams squarely on your shoulders. Where it rightfully belongs. If you want to change and achieve your dreams you, and only you, MUST be 100% accountable for your actions in order to make changes in your life.

Of course, you may experience difficulties along the way, others may not believe in you but, if it is what you want then go for it.

Embrace the changes for it may be the greatest ride of your life.

People who have excuses and reasons why they can not do something about their lives will never change. Effective action, consistently applied, will lead you to better relationships and improving your life, both personally and in business.
