March is National Women’s History Month and in honor of this month I will be presenting, to you, my audience, factoids on this memorable moment in history.

I have always been a bit of a history buff and recall when I was growing up my parents instilled in us the importance of reading, writing and arithmetic.

Mom was an avid reader and it was very common for her to bring seven or eight books home every week, from the local library, to read. And of course she would take all five of us kids with her.

One of her requirements was that we had to take out a book, a week, and report back to her what this book was about and what we learned from it.

So, why am I writing this article and what does it have to do with you, my audience.

First, it gives you some background on me and the importance of observing “National Women’s History Month.”

I have come to the belief that if you truly believe in something you need not only share those beliefs with others but, put it in writing.

So, why not take a woman, who is either someone special in your life or has impacted you in some way to lunch. Your thoughtful gesture is sure to be appreciated and having a chance to spend some one-on-one…
