So you want to write an eBook. I, like several of my colleagues either want to write an eBook or already have. Why? What will it do for you? Below are several reasons for writing an eBook:
1. They require no trees to create them. Making it an eco-friendly option that reduces cost and lowers environmental impact.
2. Information can be obtained without leaving your desk!
3. Establishes Your Authority — Anyone who takes the time and effort to become an author has instant authority. Those who are authorities in their field are considered experts and experts can earn a lot more money than non-experts.
4. Writing an eBook is an opportunity to solve problems and people with problems always want to hire someone to fix them.

5. An ebook is your calling card to unlimited prospects and future clients.
6. It is an opportunity to generate additional revenue. Writing ebooks is an additional stream of income. eBook publishing is not a passive income and you do have to promote your book.

8. Your eBook is a marketing strategy that earns its own income.
9. Writing ebooks is a business project and it needs to be managed properly.
10. You need to promote your ebook in order to generate sales.
11. Tell everyone on your “list” and promote it on social media, guest blogs, run a contest, and give away a chapter from your website.
