Your Resume is a Living Document

Your resume is a living, breathing document and it should be modified for every single opportunity you apply for.

According to Wikipedia A living document, also known as an evergreen document or dynamic document is a document that is continually edited and updated. i.e., an online encyclopedia that permits anyone to freely edit its articles, in contrast to “dead” or “static” documents.”

Don’t put together a single resume and send it to the world. Make it unique to the position you are applying for.

Take a look at the job requirements and take the time to change up your resume to closely reflect what they are looking for.

You may need to go into more specifics on a certain aspect of a previous job than others.

You may want to delve deeper into your strengths in a specific skill.

Whatever you need to do to make your resume look like the perfect match for that position, do it! With truth, of course!
